Meet Our Founder: Shane Ammerman
Shane Ammerman is an exceptional figure in the field of security, underpinned by a narrative of resilience, dedication, and a deep commitment to protect. His instinct to protect, ignited at just eight years old when he defended his siblings from their alcoholic father and abusive stepfather, which paved the way for his career in security. This early introduction to adversity set the foundation for his lifelong commitment to security. Shane transformed his personal experiences into professional expertise founding HCCI Protection, gaining respect as a certified civilian and law enforcement instructor in various disciplines, leveraging his vast experience in weapons training, his in-depth understanding of different security operations, and his ability to integrate advanced techniques that address rising threats in various environments.
Shane's journey through the challenging 4.5 years of his late wife Keely's terminal illness and her passing in Christmas 2021 brought out his tenacity and empathetic spirit. Despite personal loss, he nurtured HCCI and his two sons with unwavering dedication, marking a testament to his resolve.
Today, Shane's leadership has made HCCI Protection a beacon for vulnerable communities in the Denver Metro area, upheld by core values of Honor, Courage, Commitment, and Integrity. His story remains an inspiring portrayal of human strength and a firm commitment to superior private security. As a dedicated father and passionate CEO, Shane's personal and professional life continues to mirror his steadfast dedication to protecting others.
